Sister Ann. 1934 – 2013
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news that Sister Ann has gone to be with the Lord. She passed away on Saturday 30th November.
She was a great woman who served God up until the very end of her life. From the age of 15, she has been faithful in her service for the King. Sister Ann was there at the very inception of World Vision for Christ.
She has counselled and ministered to thousands of children and young people, been the administrator for Child Gospel Mission orphanage in Nigeria, led Bible conferences in Britain and tours across Israel’s Holy Land, taught multiple Bible studies and led thousands of prayer meetings. She was the main communicator with letters from our Radio Africa ministry and our Irish Radio Star ministry. She prayed the prayer of Salvation with countless people and did follow up work with them. Sister Ann was instrumental in setting up Paragon Christian Academy our Christian day school.
It is impossible to do justice to the legacy of this great woman of God. Her life is a continuous testimony to the saving grace, love and goodness of The Lord Jesus. Even though suffering major heart attacks and arthritis, she was constantly involved in the work of the Lord… Every. Single. Day.
Her life is a challenge to us all, to strive to be better, to do better and to serve better.
We will miss her.
